NY IS TUFF WAS SUPPOSE TO BE WHEN I PURCHASED IT |
Answer:
I would not be certain of when anything in China was made. You can research when rifles were imported though, so I suggest you researh the US Importer marks, not the Chinese factory marks
Good luck

Question:
I have a Polish Underfolder I purchased from you three years ago (posted in your review section-thumbs up). I have used this weapon extensively in my classes.
One of the tiny pins (of three) that hold the underfolder trunnion (I think)-the last that holds the push-button in
has become dislodged (fell out bent). All else is GTG with the weapon...I can't seem to find a replacement pin that fits any tips on something to use. Hate to mail back for such an easy repair. This rifle has 8-9 thousand rounds thru it but it's in great shape. Can't find the pins online - any help
Thanks Harry Huggins |
Answer:
I don't know who you are refering this question to.. but we are a website, we don't sell AK47s..
But you can use a roll pin to replace the one that is bent

| Question:
I have a WASR-10, and have terrible problems with it jamming when I use hollow-point ammo. The first few times I shot it, I used solid-core ammo, and it rarely jammed. However, I saw a good deal on HP rounds, and when using them, it jammed after almost every shot. The flatter tip of the HP round bumps up against the breech, and it jams in between the bolt and the breech, preventing the bolt from closing. Clearing the jam is relatively simple, but it is frustrating. I can envision one possible fix to the problem...machine a very small "ramp" at the breech end of the barrel. But I don't want to make such a modification if it could cause other problems. Do you have any better suggestions for me? Thank you in advance for your help.
|
Answer:
I think a less invacive way to fix this would be to 'tune' the magazines for the rifle /ammo combo
Use pliers to move the front edge of the wing that holds the rounds in place for the bolt. Lift them just a hair up on the front end (side toward the chamber)
this should change the angle the rounds travela nd it could be lsight enough to not interfer with other ammo types
Good Luck, Let us know if this helps |
