California
Legal AK47 collection
A review with pictures
My name
is Chris and I am from California.
As many of you know, we have some really stupid laws out here, but we make do
where we can.
I am huge fan of Bulgarian and Polish AK variants, and this is my current collection
of Arsenal inc and Armory USA AK rifles.

The AK rifle
on top missing the furniture is my current Polish
project built on a Armory USA 1.6mm receiver using.

I
am currently in the process of building 1 Bulgarian
AK74 on a DCI receiver this time and I am looking
at picking up a .223 early Arsenal K101. Plus
I have a couple of Tantal builds in the hopper.

Pistol Grips
are against the law unless you make the rifle into
a fixed magazine configuration by simply pinning
the mag release so it cannot be utilized and it
has to pinned in a way that you have use a tool
to remove the pin.

Also, we can only
have 10 rnd magazines.

After Jan 1, 2007,
the CA DOJ cannot list anymore rifles on their
assault weapons list (Kasler List) and therefore
any rifles/receivers that are not on the list
here are perfectly legal as long as it does not
have High Cap Mags, Pistol Grips with functional
detachable mag etc.

Like I said, Stupid
Laws, but we get by.

Actually shooting
the AK's minus a PG is allot like shooting a SKS.
How
can you reach the trigger if your hand is on the
stock?
It is not
hard at all, unless you have small hands.
It is allot like shooting a SKS, the only difference is you feel more of the
slap when the AK cycles, it is something that takes a little getting used to.
Well no PG, is better than no rifle at all, but there are many gun owners in
here in Kalifornia that are working hard to get some of our stupid laws off the
books, but of course this will take allot of time..
