This is my favorite AK to shoot. I put a bipod on it and enjoy shooting it from bench or prone with lower cap mags. The receiver and internals are the best quality of any AK I've seen except a friend's older Vepr. I wish it wasn't so homely in appearance, but I enjoy it's trustworthiness... |

Peep sight great. The design is very useable. Stock puts your eye in line with sights nicely.
The extra long trigger is much lighter pull but has more travel. Because of the extra leverage you don't feel anything, it surprises you when it fires, which I prefer.
The extra barrel length gives better sight radius and helps to balance the rifle nicely.
All the parts are very well made and fit very well. Finish is typical but the metal is all better than most AK's I've seen.

Awkward with 30+ round magazines.
Checkering is Hand cut but uneven.
Wood finish looks cheap, degrades from the overall appearance of quality, doesn't do the fine metal parts justice.
Came with a terrible 5 rd mag. |
